The purpose of the role is to teach and share your passion for the creative media industry with eager young students; helping them grow individually, and ultimately playing a role in their career paths and success in life.

Requirements

The following are applicable but not limited to the position at hand.

  • NQF 8 (NQF 9 preferred) qualification in area of specialisation.
  • Information Systems / Computer Science / Multimedia
  • 2 years lecturing experience. Preferred. (However, if this is not the case, a plan of upskilling can be prepared for the respective applicant)
  • 5 years recent industry experience. Preferred.
  • Substantial experience in Game Design, Production and Development
  • Proficient with industry-standard equipment and software including:
    • Unreal and Unity Game Engines (specifically)
    • Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro and After Effects)
