Freelance Finance Managers

We are seeking experienced Finance Managers to join our network of freelance professionals for interim project-based engagements. Ideal candidates will be self-employed, operate their own business, or work as independent contractors, with the flexibility to support clients across different time zones and sectors.

Our projects typically involve working with international businesses in need of short- to medium-term financial leadership, reporting support, or transitional finance management.

• Lead and manage financial operations for client organizations during critical periods (e.g., growth, restructuring, or transition)
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports
• Oversee compliance with financial regulations and standards (e.g., UK, US GAAP, IFRS)
• Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders
• Provide strategic advice to clients on financial planning, risk, and performance improvement
• Support ERP implementation, financial process improvement, or internal controls enhancement

• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in financial management roles
• Experience working with or in international organizations (especially in the USA, UK, or Europe)
• Strong knowledge of international accounting standards such as UK, US GAAP and/or IFRS
• Proven track record in remote or freelance finance roles
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, CPA, Professional Accountant (SA) preferred
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work independently
