Job Description

Ramsay Engineering would like to offer the opportunity to all employees who meet the requirements for the position that is available to apply.

Main purpose

Support the ME plans on existing and new production lines. Support ME Improvement objectives by analysis of lost time and Problem-solving analysis or any other Quality related losses.

TQM / Elimination of waste
  • Forklift Driving
  • Remove & Replace Dunnage
  • Fetch & return components/finished goods to despatch & production departments
  • Pick & Pack orders
  • Stock counts
  • Despatch
  • Follow standardised work process
  • Attend meetings
  • Practice and improve 5S in your work area in line with the 5S check sheet.
  • Ensure correct PPE usage.
  • Follow the SHEMS procedures. All counter measure sheets must be completed and closed off.
  • Ensure that the Forklift Safety Procedures are adhered to at all times
Quality
  • Ensure components are handled with care and that the forks of the forklift do not damage dunnage.
Delivery
  • Ensure that raw materials are fetched and returned, loaded, and offloaded in time.
  • Responsible for own personal attendance to ensure it is 98% on an ongoing basis.
People Development
  • Follow HR Policies & Procedures. Responsible for own personal development.
General
  • Carry out any reasonable instructions by Storeman and/or Stores Controller.
