- CA(SA) or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and statutory requirements
- Experience in operations and/or manufacturing environments advantageous
- Strong financial reporting, analysis and budgeting experience
- Advanced Excel and financial systems experience (e.g. Sage)
- Strong analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
- Ability to manage a team and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- High attention to detail with a logical and proactive approach
- Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts, reports and financial packs
- Monitor financial performance, analyse variances and provide actionable insights
- Manage and maintain general ledger, cashbook, reconciliations and balance sheet integrity
- Oversee financial processes ensuring compliance with GAAP, IFRS and internal policies
- Handle statutory reporting including VAT, tax returns and regulatory submissions
- Manage audits and liaise with external auditors
- Monitor and manage budgets, forecasts and working capital
- Implement cost control measures and identify efficiency improvements
- Support business decision-making through financial analysis and reporting
- Manage intercompany transactions, foreign currency revaluations and transfer pricing
- Ensure smooth financial operations and resolve day to day finance queries
