Job Description
Overview 
Reference: 10866 SJ Consultant: Sone Johnson
Responsibilities- Management: Direct oversight and optimization of the company's daily cash inflows and outflows to maintain liquidity.
- Annual Financial Statements (AFS): Preparation, coordination with auditors, and finalization of all statutory annual financial reports.
- Overall Financial Strategy, Budgeting, & Control: Development and implementation of long-term financial strategies, comprehensive budgeting, and robust expenditure controls.
- Costing (Analysis & Management): Detailed analysis, tracking, and management of all direct and indirect operational and project-related costs. (This crucial data serves as input for commercial pricing decisions.)
- Payments & Accounts Payable: Processing and managing all outgoing payments, including vendor invoices, supplier relationships, and creditor reconciliations.
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate, complete, and auditable financial records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Insurance Claims Processing (Financial Aspect): Managing the financial administration, tracking, and reconciliation of all incoming and outgoing insurance claims.
- Credit Application Processing: Evaluation of client creditworthiness, management of credit terms, and processing of credit applications.
- Vendor Applications (Financial Vetting & Setup): Financial assessment of new vendors, setting up payment terms, and maintaining vendor financial records.
- Customer Invoicing & Payment FCashflowollow-up (FAP): Generation of all customer invoices, diligent management of accounts receivable, and active follow-up on outstanding payments.
- Guarantees & Bonds (Financial Administration): Managing the financial applications, documentation, and reconciliation for performance guarantees and bonds.
- Salary & Wage Administration: Accurate processing of payroll, employee benefits, statutory deductions, and all compensation-related financial tasks.
- TAX Compliance: Ensuring strict adherence to all tax laws, timely calculation, and submission of all corporate and payroll taxes.
- Office Consumables Procurement (Financial Oversight): Managing the budget, financial approvals, and cost control for the acquisition of all office supplies.
- Petty Cash (Operational Float Management): Administration and reconciliation of petty cash funds designated for immediate, minor operational expenditures.
- Strategic Procurement (Financial Approval & Budgeting): Providing financial oversight, allocating budgets, and approving significant procurement initiatives.
- Planning (Program & Forecast Accuracy - Financial): Developing accurate financial forecasts and budget allocations for all future programs and projects.
- General HR Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate, confidential, and comprehensive employee files, contracts, performance records, and other critical HR documentation.
- Relevant qualification
- Experience: 5 years +, construction industry
- Expertise: Must have worked with and know Buildsmart accounting software
