Field Technician
Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field Technician to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
As a Field Technician at Quantum Insights, you will be responsible for assisting our clients in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from various sources. Your main duties will include installing and maintaining data collection equipment, conducting field surveys and inspections, and troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise.
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be interacting with clients and team members on a regular basis.
Responsibilities- Install and maintain data collection equipment on client sites
- Conduct field surveys and inspections to gather data
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise
- Collaborate with team members to analyze and interpret data
- Communicate findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and concise manner
- Keep accurate records of all field activities and data collected
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while working in the field
- Continuously identify areas for improvement and make suggestions for process enhancements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Proven experience as a Field Technician or similar role
- Strong technical background and knowledge of data collection equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel to various client sites as needed
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds of equipment
