An opportunity is available for a Senior Field Service Technician to join a dynamic operations team based in Pretoria North. This role involves working on high-speed electrical doors and related systems, ensuring efficient installations, repairs, and servicing.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections to assess readiness for installation of high-speed electrical doors
- Perform accurate measurements and prepare installation requirements
- Install, commission, and maintain high-speed electrical door systems
- Carry out repairs, servicing, and fault-finding on mechanical and electrical components
- Diagnose and resolve breakdowns efficiently on-site
- Ensure all installations meet quality standards and are completed within deadlines and budget
- Adhere to all Occupational Health & Safety requirements
- Handle professional commissioning and handover of systems to clients
- Provide feedback on site issues, performance, and improvements
- Grade 12 (with Mathematics and English) or equivalent
- Technical Trade Certificate (tertiary qualification advantageous)
- Valid South African Driver's License
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Field Technician or in a similar technical/industrial environment
- Experience working with electrical and mechanical door systems or similar equipment
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Welding experience (advantageous)
