Job Description

An opportunity is available for a Senior Field Service Technician to join a dynamic operations team based in Pretoria North. This role involves working on high-speed electrical doors and related systems, ensuring efficient installations, repairs, and servicing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site inspections to assess readiness for installation of high-speed electrical doors
  • Perform accurate measurements and prepare installation requirements
  • Install, commission, and maintain high-speed electrical door systems
  • Carry out repairs, servicing, and fault-finding on mechanical and electrical components
  • Diagnose and resolve breakdowns efficiently on-site
  • Ensure all installations meet quality standards and are completed within deadlines and budget
  • Adhere to all Occupational Health & Safety requirements
  • Handle professional commissioning and handover of systems to clients
  • Provide feedback on site issues, performance, and improvements
Requirements
  • Grade 12 (with Mathematics and English) or equivalent
  • Technical Trade Certificate (tertiary qualification advantageous)
  • Valid South African Driver's License
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Field Technician or in a similar technical/industrial environment
  • Experience working with electrical and mechanical door systems or similar equipment
  • Ability to use hand and power tools
  • Welding experience (advantageous)
