Job Description

Weare seeking a proven Field Operations Lead to join our Operations teamand drive success across multiple functions within a dynamic and fast-pacedenvironment. The successful candidate will be responsible for conductinggeneral maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems(single and three-phase), control and instrumentation (C&I) systems, aswell as water metering equipment across the region.

Key Performance Areas

Key Responsibilities (including, but not limited to)

  • Conduct maintenanceon all electrical single and three phase, electrical C&I and water
  • Installations of allelectrical single and three phase, electrical C&I and prepaid watermetering equipment;
  • Provide signoff andCOC certificate for all installations;
  • Attend to alltechnical calls and queries;
  • Oversee contractormeter installation to correct standard and quality;
  • Adherence, complianceto and enforcing of Health and Safety;
  • Manage contractor'sinstallations schedules and job cards;
  • Manage meterregistration on vending system;
  • Conduct monthly meterreadings for water and electricity;
  • Compile customerinvoice files for all services;
  • Stock management andcontrol (Submit monthly stocktake report);
  • Perform monthlyrevenue protection analysis, audits and inspection;
  • Compile and submitmonthly audit and inspections report, highlight findings and corrective actionsimplemented to manager;
  • Attend site meetingsand client visits;
  • Record technicalfaults and customer complaints and resolve within set timelines;
  • Management andmaintenance of company assets and vehicle;
  • Energy balance of allkey accounts;
  • Operate and performwork within company systems, policies and procedures;
  • Perform other dutiesand responsibilities, as assigned from time to time;
  • Will be required towork overtime when needed;
  • Will be required todo standby from time to time.
Requirements
  • N6 with electriciantrade test from a recognized institution;
  • Technical and GeneralProblem-solving capability; with a positive, service-oriented attitude;
Advantageous
  • Must be able to workindependent and within a team;
  • Able to readdrawings;
  • Ability to work underpressure (Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment).
