Fashion Designer (Sales/Account Management)

The/Studio

Job Description

Use your design background to drive global business.

At THE/STUDIO, we've found that the most successful business leads aren't just great communicators-they're people who actually understand how products are made.

We are looking for Fashion Designers who are ready to transition into high-impact, customer-facing roles. Whether your strength lies in building long-term relationships (Account Management), chasing new leads (Outbound Sales), or converting high-intent interest (Inbound Sales), we have a seat for you.

Why you? You understand tech packs, materials, and the creative process. That knowledge makes you a massive asset to our clients. Instead of just "selling," you'll be consulting and solving problems for brands globally.

The Essentials:

  • Background: Fashion or Product Design (Degree or 2+ years experience).
  • Ambition: A clear desire to move into a commercial, results-driven role.
  • Environment: Comfortable in a fast-paced, fully remote team (Must be comfortable working during US hours).
  • Mindset: You care about the "how" and "why" behind the business.

Roles we are hiring for:

  • Customer Success (Account Management)
  • Account Executive (Outbound)
  • Inside Sales (Inbound)

Location: Fully Remote (US Business Hours)

Role Type: Sales / Account Management / Operations

About the Role

At THE/STUDIO, we are disrupting the manufacturing industry by bridging the gap between design and supply chain. We've discovered that individuals with a background in Fashion Design possess a "technical empathy" that makes them incredible business partners for our clients.

We are looking for design-trained professionals to join our commercial team. Based on your personality and strengths, we will "stream" you into one of three core functions:

  • Customer Success Manager (Account Management): You are the long-term partner for our existing clients. You'll manage the post-sales lifecycle, ensuring project success, driving retention, and identifying opportunities for account growth and upselling.
  • Account Executive: You are a high-level "Closer." You will manage a pipeline of qualified e-commerce leads, using your industry expertise to pitch THE/STUDIO's value proposition and convert large-scale opportunities into active partnerships.
  • Inside Sales Representative (Sr. Creative Specialist): You are the bridge between a lead and a product. You will handle inbound inquiries, acting as a technical consultant to help customers refine their creative concepts and navigate the production process to finalize their first orders.
What You'll Do
  • Consultative Strategy: Use your knowledge of garment construction and materials to provide expert advice, ensuring client designs are production-ready.
  • Creative Problem Solving: Navigate manufacturing complexities by translating vague creative visions into actionable, high-quality production orders.
  • Pipeline & Portfolio Management: Manage a high volume of interactions, whether it's closing new business or nurturing a book of existing accounts, within our CRM.
  • Revenue Impact: Directly influence company growth by hitting KPIs related to conversion rates, order value, and client lifetime value.
Who You Are
  • The "Business-Minded Creative": You love fashion, but you find the business of fashion (margins, logistics, and scalability) just as exciting as the aesthetic.
  • Technical Translator: You can look at a tech pack or a sketch and immediately explain the operational requirements to a client.
  • Resilient & High-Agency: You thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment where you are expected to take ownership of your desk and hit targets.
  • Expert Communicator: You possess the "Sales DNA" required to persuade and lead a customer, backed by the credibility of a design background.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Fashion Design, Product Design, or a related creative field.
  • Technical Literacy: Ability to understand design files, tech packs, and manufacturing specs.
  • Communication: Native or professional-level English fluency with a confident "consultative" tone.
  • Alignment: Availability to work consistently during US Business Hours (EST/PST).
  • Experience: Previous experience in sales, retail, or a customer-facing role is highly preferred.

At THE/STUDIO, we know that our Company's strength lies in the diversity of our team. THE/STUDIO is an Equal Opportunity Employer and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds. Our policy is to provide equal opportunities for all applicants and individuals regardless of protected characteristics. We prioritize and maintain a fair, inclusive and equitable workplace free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
