Farm Manager (Live in)

Hlomelo Projects seeks an experienced Live-In Farm Manager to lead our operations in Rustenburg. Initially focusing on Chicken and Aquaponics, with planned expansion into Goat, Sheep, and Pig farming, you will be responsible for the overall success, safety, and efficiency of the farm and its team

• Lead & Manage: Oversee all personnel and farm activities (production, breeding trials, field maintenance, animal husbandry).
• Operational Excellence: Implement trial plans, manage inventory, define work processes, and ensure safety/compliance.
• Strategy & Finance: Prepare budgets, manage costs, lead innovation projects, and define station strategy (investments/expansions).
• Stakeholders: Maintain communication with company leadership, suppliers, and local authorities.

• Education: Relevant Degree in Agriculture.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in crop management (livestock/aquaponics experience beneficial).
• Leadership: Proven project management and team leadership skills are essential.
• Language: Fluency in Afrikaans and English (Read, Write, Speak).
• Commitment: Must be willing to live on the farm and oversee all aspects of the property.
