Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a hands on and self motivated Farm/Lodge Manager for a luxury safari lodge in Zululand, KZN. This live in role is perfect for a practical, problem solving professional who thrives in a remote environment and enjoys keeping everything running smoothly-from buildings to vehicles to utilities.
What's on offer:- Salary: R12,000 - R13,000 per month (live in, depending on experience)

- 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation

The Farm/Lodge Manager will oversee day to day operations and infrastructure, ensuring the lodge and farm run efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:- Managing and maintaining lodge buildings, staff housing, guest areas, roads, fences, and utilities
- Performing and supervising repairs, maintenance, and renovations (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, construction)
- Overseeing water systems, generators, pumps, and solar systems
- Operating and maintaining vehicles and machinery (tractors, trucks, utility/game drive vehicles)
- Supervising contractors and managing stock and maintenance supplies
- Ensuring health, safety, and operational standards are met
- Liaising with lodge management on daily operations
- Proven experience in farm, lodge, or maintenance management
- Strong hands on skills in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs
- Experience with building, renovation, or construction work
- Ability to drive and operate large vehicles; Code 10/14 licence advantageous
- Practical, independent problem solver able to thrive in a remote bush setting
- Good people management and communication skills
- Experience in a safari lodge or game reserve environment
- Health & safety or first aid certification
