Job Description

Grace Adventures Ministries is a year round Christian organization in northwest Michigan that is passionate about helping students, adults, and families strengthen their personal, professional, and spiritual relationships through trainings, retreats, camps, and family camping.

Summary of Position

Fulfill the overall ministry of Grace Adventures and cast a vision to others. This position will be part of the Facilities and Maintenance team that demonstrates world class excellence through their care of the ministry's campuses, including maintaining buildings, grounds, activity sites, vehicle and equipment, snow removal, boats, roads, parking lots, septic, and well infrastructure.

Qualifications
  • A testimony and lifestyle that evidences a true experience of salvation by grace in Jesus Christ.
  • High school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of experience in a related field.
  • An attitude of excellence in workmanship.
  • A supportive attitude to the needs of staff, guests, and the organization's goals.
  • A desire to learn and develop new skills and knowledge.
  • Flexibility to change as the ministry's greater needs and mission fulfillment require.
  • Physical ability to travel and implement various physical work activities over 378 acres encompassing three separate campuses in Mears and an additional 141 acre campus near White Cloud, MI. Lifting and carrying may be part of the job.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
