is seeking to appoint a dynamic and experienced Executive Head to provide strategic, academic, and operational leadership. This is an exciting opportunity for a visionary education professional who is passionate about excellence, innovation, and holistic learner development.

About the Role

The Executive Head will oversee all aspects of the school's academic performance, operational management, staff leadership, financial oversight, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will ensure that the school maintains high educational standards, strong organisational systems, and a values-driven culture that supports learner success.

Key Responsibilities Strategic & Academic Leadership
  • Lead the development and implementation of the school's strategic plan.
  • Ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and curriculum delivery (CAPS/IEB as applicable).
  • Drive continuous improvement across academic and support functions.
Operational Management
  • Oversee admissions, timetabling, infrastructure, IT systems, and daily school operations.
  • Ensure compliance with education legislation, health & safety standards, and child protection policies.
  • Work closely with Finance to manage budgets, controls, and long-term sustainability.
  • Lead, mentor, and performance manage academic and support staff.
  • Foster a professional, collaborative, and high performance culture.
  • Promote holistic learner development and well being.
  • Oversee an effective, values based discipline system.
  • Ensure implementation of safeguarding and inclusivity policies.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build positive relationships with parents, community stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Ensure effective internal and external communication.
  • Represent the school in relevant forums and networks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Education degree (B.Ed) or equivalent (required).
  • Postgraduate qualification in Educational Management/Leadership (advantageous).
  • SACE registration.
  • At least 10 years' experience in education, including 5+ years in senior leadership (Principal/Deputy Principal/Executive Head).
  • Proven experience in academic leadership, staff management, school operations, and strategic planning.
