Excavator Operator

Location: Lichtenburg,North West,South AfricaAfrimat Mining Services, based in Tswana Lime Quarry (Lichtenburg) has a vacancy for an: Excavator Operator # Minimum Qualification / Experience Grade 12 certificate Knowledgeable in Hitachi ZX470. Heavy equipment certificate Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in plant operator will be advantageous Be able to control and operate equipment such as Excavator Hitachi ZX470 additional equipment will be a benefit Be able to do a visual and physical check list before operating the Excavator Strong communication skills both verbal and written Ability to work safely in fast paced environment Able to work well under pressure Willing to work shifts # Duties and responsibilities (not limited to): Prepare the surface to ensure it is flat Load the dump ensuring there is no contaminated material or oversized rocks loaded Safely and effectively operate an Excavator Report all safety hazards, accidents, and incidents to your manager Ensure that the plant adheres to safety and environment rules Abide by Company's rules and regulations Support the company's vision, values and objectives Operate the machine within the manufacture's specification and accordance with standard set Keep work area clean Park moving plant and remove keys and place in specified box # Please send the following documents to apply:Please upload the following documents in one file with the application form to the right.
