Are you someone who can: Support REMS Catering with the planning and execution of catering services for the organisation by coordinating catering for meetings and events, planning for catering logistics, and ensuring that client needs are met efficiently. Play a vital role in enhancing the overall catering experience for clients and staff. Manage logistics related to catering supplies, equipment, and transportation. Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and confirming event details. Collaborate with culinary staff and line management to prepare for the delivery of menus that meet client requirements and dietary restrictions. Liaise with suppliers to source ingredients and equipment needed for catering services. Assist in tracking performance metrics for catering events, providing insights for improvements. Maintain accurate documentation related to catering events, contracts, and client agreements. Gather feedback from clients post events to identify areas for enhancement in service. Address any logistical issues that arise during event preparation and execution promptly. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless event execution and effective communication. Work collaboratively with the catering team to enhance overall service delivery. Uphold high standards of service and attention to detail in all tasks. Follow established procedures and protocols for event coordination and service. Maintain a strong focus on meeting client needs and exceeding expectations. Engage in ongoing learning to stay current with catering trends and best practices. Manage own costs and expenses associated with role to enhance cost effectiveness. Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers' expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions. Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end-users, SME's, project managers and senior staff members. Provision of an efficient administration service through careful and timeous planning, reporting and updating of all related information. Ensuring a collaborative network across business segments in order to achieve business objectives. Successful implementation and delivery on approved projects within budget from inception to close. Coordinate internal and external events in line with specified requirements. Manage own development to increase own competencies. You will be an ideal candidate if you have: Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field Strong organisational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
