Job Description

  • Obtaining 10 Letters of Executorship (LOE) per month.
  • In new estates meetings, explain the estates process, timeframes and costs to client/families/beneficiaries and brokers.
  • Ensure the quality of onboarding is in line with our standards as set out in the H2W and done within our business durations.
  • Communicated with beneficiaries and brokers are communicated, keeping them well informed during the onboarding process.
  • Ensure that all active enquiries that will not be converted to an estate are deactivated within our business durations, and instruction sent to ECA to action.
  • Ensure that renunciations are dealt with as per our business process - telephone discussion with beneficiaries and broker, sending of terms letter and follow-ups if terms letter expires.
  • Actively drive cash shortfalls and put beneficiaries on terms, where necessary.
  • Follow up on outstanding requirements so that we can onboard the estate successfully.
  • Expanding your knowledge with regard to basic deceased estates processes.
  • Ensure that joint (EC/EP) L&D meetings are booked timeously and held with all beneficiaries once the L&D has passed QA.
  • Work effectively with teams by sharing knowledge and supporting team members.
  • Manage diary and time management effectively.
  • Work closely with Estate Practitioners and provide support when necessary.
  • Able to identify issues early on in the estate administration journey to mitigate risk and have acceptable control, for example of shortfalls and complaints.

What we look for in our ideal candidate Education and experience requirements
  • Matric
  • Own reliable vehicle and valid driver's licence
  • Industry-related degree or diploma (preferred)
  • Minimum of 1 to 5 years' experience in independently managing a portfolio of estates
  • Legal, fiduciary or trust background is essential
  • Fully proficient in English and Afrikaans
  • Highly organised with a high level of client-centricity
  • Working on expanding knowledge and need little management
  • Team player
