Emergency Responder (East London)

Volunteering with St John Ambulance strengthens communities. From youth support and education to wellbeing, events, and fundraising; your time makes a real impact.

At St John Ambulance, we are looking to develop our volunteering offer and become an even more integral part of our communities through delivering community first aid and education.

• Deliver essential first aid and lifesaving clinical care at community and major events, including sporting events, concerts and community festivals.
• Participate in a 6 day in person training course split over three weekends to obtain the necessary qualifications.
• Attend the required information events and selection/interview days.

Based in East London (live or study) and able to attend the Selection and interview Day and all of the dates of the chosen course (option 1 or 2).

Interview and Selection Day - 28th March 2026

• ER Course: Option 1 - June; June; July 2026
• ER Course: Option 2 - June; 4 5; July

If you are successful you will need to undertake induction & training for the role, including a 6 day in person training course split over three weekends.
