Electrician

To perform electrical maintenance and fault-finding on machinery, equipment, and building electrical systems, ensuring compliance with company quality standards and SANS 10142 regulations.

• Repair and maintain press and assembly machinery, as well as building electrical systems, to meet customer and company quality standards and SANS 10142 requirements.
• Carry out preventative maintenance in accordance with the maintenance schedule, job cards, and relevant work instructions.
• Accurately complete timesheets and compile maintenance feedback to ensure reliable repair and downtime data, submitting reports to the Team Leader.
• Ensure strict adherence to company procedures, work instructions, and quality management systems at all times.
• Actively participate in departmental M2S initiatives in line with company requirements.
• Ensure all work practices comply with company SHEQ policies, procedures, and work instructions.

Knowledge & Technical Skills

• Press machinery repair and maintenance
• Understanding of manufacturing processes
• Basic knowledge of quality management systems

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Electrician within an automotive manufacturing environment
• NQF Level 4 qualification or Matric
• Qualified Electrician or Millwright
