Job Description

A well-established manufacturing operation is seeking a qualified Electrical Technician to provide electrical engineering and technical support within a high-volume production environment. This role is focused on maximising equipment availability, supporting plant performance, conducting fault-finding and repairs and ensuring safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

You will be responsible for reactive and preventative maintenance, root cause analysis, PLC and robotic programming, machine process optimisation and technical support across the factory. Strong exposure to maintenance systems, compliance standards, and manufacturing processes is essential.

Minimum Requirements
  • National Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Automotive or Information Technology (NQF 6) (Essential)
  • Recognised Trade Test (Essential)
  • Up to 3 years' experience as an Electrical/Electronic Technician within manufacturing
  • Experience with PLCs, robotics, ERP systems, and MES environments
  • Strong fault-finding, analytical, and problem-solving ability
  • Computer literacy, including MS Office
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment
