Job Description

A leading client in the power infrastructure and energy sector is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer - Transmission Lines to join their engineering team based in Johannesburg.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Design electrical systems for high-voltage transmission line projects.
  • Develop and review engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.
  • Ensure all electrical designs comply with regulatory standards and project specifications.
  • Provide technical support to construction teams during project implementation.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure safety compliance in electrical installations.
  • Prepare engineering reports, feasibility studies, and project documentation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure project delivery.
  • MTech / BTech in Electrical Engineering or higher
  • Professional registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)
  • Experience working with high-voltage transmission lines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Technical expertise in high-voltage systems
  • Ability to manage multiple engineering tasks
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
