Job Description
A leading client in the power infrastructure and energy sector is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer - Transmission Lines to join their engineering team based in Johannesburg.
Key Duties and Responsibilities- Design electrical systems for high-voltage transmission line projects.
- Develop and review engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.
- Ensure all electrical designs comply with regulatory standards and project specifications.
- Provide technical support to construction teams during project implementation.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure safety compliance in electrical installations.
- Prepare engineering reports, feasibility studies, and project documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure project delivery.
- MTech / BTech in Electrical Engineering or higher
- Professional registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)
- Experience working with high-voltage transmission lines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Technical expertise in high-voltage systems
- Ability to manage multiple engineering tasks
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
