Electrical Engineering Lecturer (Post Level 1)

Tshwane North TVET College would like to invite suitably qualified, innovative, result orientated and self driven candidates to apply for the ContractLecturer position at Soshanguve North Campus.

Ref: TNC/SNC/22 - 05/3

SALARY: R214,908 per annum plus 37% in lieu of benefits

DURATION: June 2022 to April 2023

Requirements
  • Matric certificate plus an appropriate M+3 Qualification (National Diploma / Bachelor's Degree) in Electrical Engineering or related field with one (1) year lecturing experience in Mathematics N1 - N6 and Engineering Science N1 N4
  • Relevant Teaching Qualification
  • Relevant Trade Test Certificate in the respective trade
  • Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • SACE registration
  • Assessor/moderator qualification will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of legislation governing the sector
Duties
  • Conduct classes on the above mentioned subjects
  • Organise relevant curricular activities to ensure that the subject and learning area of the learners are conducted in a proper manner
  • Assess and record the attainment of learners
  • Assist with the issuing and retrieval of textbooks and management of equipment etc.
  • Organise experiential training for students
  • Report and account for student performance in their programmes
  • Record and report on absenteeism and perform other relevant duties within the ambit of teaching and learning
