Our client, a well established production facility, is looking for a technically strong and solutions driven Electrical & Electronic Technician to join their engineering team. If you enjoy fault finding, working with automation systems, and keeping high speed machinery running at peak performance, this could be your next career move.
You'll play a critical role in ensuring production equipment operates efficiently, safely, and with minimal downtime. From advanced troubleshooting to preventative maintenance, your expertise will directly impact operational performance and reliability.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Maintaining and repairing electrical, electronic and instrumentation systems across plant equipment
  • Diagnosing and resolving faults on PLC controlled machinery and automation systems
  • Conducting preventative and scheduled maintenance to reduce breakdowns
  • Troubleshooting and repairing variable speed drives and control systems
  • Updating and modifying electrical control circuits and technical drawings where required
  • Supporting production teams with technical expertise to improve machine performance
  • Ensuring all equipment complies with safety and operational standards
  • Participating in standby duties, overtime and weekend maintenance when required
What We're Looking For:
  • N6, T4, National Diploma or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
  • Strong experience working with PLC systems (Siemens and Lenze advantageous)
  • Solid knowledge of Variable Speed Drives and automation controls
  • Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics would be beneficial
  • Ability to fault find down to component level will be advantageous
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem solving ability
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
