Our Client is seeking Electrical draughtsman to join their company in Eastern Cape - based in Port Elizabeth

Job Requirements
  • Minimum National Diploma Electrical Engineering
  • 3 years' experience in Drawings/Design within the Manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding / interpretation of Electrical drawings as well as electrical installations.
  • Knowledge of relevant Production Processes.
  • Computer Literacy (MS Office Suite and applicable discipline-specific software programs).
Job Duties
  • To provide engineering support services to contribute to the achievement of operational targets, whilst striving for optimal availability and safety within own area of responsibility.
  • Drafting of new electrical drawings
  • ISO 50001 compliance
  • Tracking and updating of any changes to electrical drawings as required
  • Work schedules and documentation compliant with applicable specifications and standards.
  • Prepares detailed presentations for Senior design engineer to review.
  • Drives and oversees project design from start to implementation phase.
  • Cost saving initiatives presented and implemented.
  • Technologies and developments researched and benchmarked.
