Job Description

As an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in the electrical trade while working alongside experienced professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment
  • Learn and follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
  • Use hand and power tools to complete tasks under the supervision of a journeyman electrician
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues and make necessary repairs
  • Keep work areas clean and organized
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients
  • Continuously learn and improve skills through on-the-job training and classroom instruction
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Enrolled in or completed a vocational or technical school program in electrical work preferred
  • Strong interest in the electrical trade and willingness to learn
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Physically able to perform tasks such as climbing ladders, lifting heavy objects, and working in confined spaces
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
