Kirklees Council are advertising this role on behalf of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Primary Academy. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic practitioner to join our team as an Educational Teaching Assistant. We welcome applications from candidates with relevant qualifications or strong classroom experience, as well as those who may be new to school settings but have a genuine passion for helping children and a strong desire to make a difference.
Key Responsibilities- The role will involve supporting teaching and learning across the school, working with individuals, small groups, pupils with additional needs, and whole classes as required.
- The role is varied and offers the chance to build positive relationships with children across different year groups.
- You will adapt confidently to different situations, communicate effectively and uphold our behaviour expectations with consistency and professionalism.
- The successful candidate will actively support the Mission Statement and the Ethos of our Catholic Primary School.
- All staff are subject to an enhanced DBS check. A conviction may not automatically exclude candidates from appointment but will be considered carefully as part of the recruitment process.
- Relevant qualifications or strong classroom experience, or genuine passion for helping children.
- Resilient, positive and forward thinking, with a genuine enthusiasm for helping children thrive both academically and personally.
