Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Placement Development Representative / Recruiter to support our recruitment efforts. The Placement Development Representative will be responsible for sourcing and screening candidates, matching them to available positions, and promoting them to placement managers. The ideal candidate will have experience in recruitment or sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for making a positive impact in the education sector.
We are a fast-growing UK education recruitment agency supplying teachers and education support staff into UK schools. Operating in a highly competitive, fast-moving market, we focus on speed, quality, and strong candidate relationships, supported by robust systems and technology.
Our consultants manage multiple live vacancies at any given time and are supported by tech, job boards, and structured processes - but success ultimately comes down to drive, activity, and execution.
The Role
As an Education Recruitment Consultant, you will manage the full recruitment lifecycle for UK education roles, placing teachers and support staff into long-term and permanent positions.
This is a performance-driven role with uncapped commission and clear earning potential for consultants who move quickly, follow up consistently, and build strong candidate pipelines.
Typical Vacancies
Teaching roles (Primary, Secondary, SEN)
Education support staff
You will typically manage 1 - 2 live vacancies at any one time, increasing as you settle into the role (around the 3-month mark to: 2-5 live vacancies).
How the Recruitment Process Works
Vacancy is added to the system (HubSpot) and posted to job boards
You source and consult with candidates via the system and job boards
Conduct deep-dive candidate consultations (not CV-forwarding)
Present and sell candidates to the UK Consultant for UK schools
Once approved by the consultant, you earn your first commission & you can send that candidate to multiple roles
To earn comms, you:
Send out registration forms
Chase compliance and documentation
Candidate starts work & has worked 10 days, you earn your 2nd commission
Speed, follow-up, and activity are critical - the market moves fast, and delays cost placements.

4 - 5 experience in recruitment and/or sales is necessary.
Experience in the education recruitment sector is advantageous.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage candidates effectively.
Must take initiative and be proactive in sourcing and engaging candidates.
Technologically savvy, preferably with experience using Hubspot and/or Zoho Recruit.
Proficiency in using CRM systems or recruitment software is desirable.
A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities.
Good Basic (R - R per month depending on experience)
Commission - Uncapped & Good Incentives throughout the year
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 07:30 - 17:00 (UK Time) & During School holidays working hours : Monday - Friday 10:00 - 16:00 (UK Time)
