Dispatch Supervisor Delivery Driver

As Dispatch Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the dispatch process. From coordinating early morning truck loading, timely truck departures, helping to manage and train a team of drivers and additional administration tasks. You will play a crucial role in making sure our deliveries are on time and in excellent condition.

This role will also involve supporting the distribution team as a delivery driver.

• Supervise and coordinate dispatch operations to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
• Schedule and monitor delivery routes and driver workloads
• Maintain clear communication with internal teams and customers
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations
• Train and support team members to meet performance standards
• Report on daily dispatch activities and resolve any delivery issues promptly
• Drive deliveries representing our company professionally and ensuring safe and efficient transport of goods
• Maintain accurate records, logs and reports related to dispatch and driving tasks.

• Experience in logistics, dispatch, or supply chain supervision (preferably in the food industry)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A willingness to learn different areas in the distribution team
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Full NZ Driver's License or possession of a Class 2 driver's license would be advantageous.
