We are seeking a results-driven designer to oversee our design and production operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our technical output meets both the rigorous standards of the Institute for Timber Construction (ITC-SA) and the fast-paced demands of our clients. The ideal candidate will combine structural expertise with strong leadership skills to manage our technical team, oversee logistics, and maintain high-level client relations.

• Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor the technical team to ensure accurate designs and efficient manufacturing processes.
• Design & Software: Utilize Pamir software to create and review truss designs, ensuring structural integrity and cost-effectiveness.
• Production Management: Manage strict deadlines in line with our "rapid roof truss" delivery model without compromising quality.
• Compliance & Quality: Act as the primary overseer for ITC-SA compliance, ensuring all manufactured products meet or exceed industry quality standards.
• Logistics Oversight: Manage the transport and dispatch of goods to ensure timely and safe delivery to sites.
• Client Relations: Facilitate and manage technical enquiries from clients, providing expert advice and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Education: Tertiary qualification will be an added advantage.
• Software Proficiency: Proven experience using Pamir design software is essential.
• Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of the basics of roofing, timber, and light steel frame construction.
• Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a manufacturing or construction environment.
• Compliance: Familiarity with ITC-SA regulations and auditing processes.
• Skills: Strong project management, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
