Cape Town-based

(Remote to start - but there will be an office in the near future with a Hybrid working model)

Job Overview

The Recruitment Delivery Consultant is responsible for efficiently sourcing candidates, managing relationships, and ensuring quality delivery that aligns with client needs and company standards. As part of the Talent Delivery team, they build talent pools, ensure quick placements, and maintain quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Sourcing & Talent Pooling

Build, maintain, and rigorously map talent pools within your specialist vertical

Source both active and passive candidates using varied techniques (headhunting, networks, job boards, referrals, social channels).

Ensure all candidate data and interactions are accurately logged in CRM.

Candidate Engagement & Management

Conduct detailed qualification calls and structured candidate interviews to ensure the role fit

Provide full briefing and preparation for candidate interviews; perform thorough debriefs

Manage candidates throughout the full recruitment lifecycle - CV submission, interview stages, offer management, and onboarding.

Shortlisting & Delivery Excellence

Provide high-quality shortlists, typically within 48 hours of receiving a brief (Delivery KPIs).

Ensure candidates are fully informed and that submitted profiles are complete, accurate and high-quality.

Client-Facing Delivery Support

Support consultants and client teams through the preparation of shortlists, intelligence gathering, and role-specific insights

Participate in client briefings and support in managing expectations around timelines, talent availability and market conditions.

Market & Intelligence Gathering

Collect and store market insights, client intel, and competitor information, and share with stakeholders.

Use market mapping to anticipate hiring needs and drive proactive candidate sourcing engagement.

Requirements

Skills & Experience Required

1 - 2 years + of experience in recruitment within a pure sourcing role (Ideally within the UK Insurance/ Underwriting market) Hiring across: Insurance and Underwriting roles, with UK market recruitment experience

Proven experience in candidate sourcing, talent pooling, and delivery operations.

Demonstrated experience delivering resourcing across international markets, adapting sourcing strategies to regional talent landscapes, cultural nuances, and varied client needs requirements.

Strong communication and rapport-building skills with both candidates and internal stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple roles at pace in a process-driven environment.

Familiarity with CRM/ATS systems such as Salesforce

Understanding of contingent recruitment, advisory-led managed services, or Project-based delivery is advantageous.
