The Role

As the CRM Specialist , you will be responsible for designing, executing, and optimizing multi-channel CRM campaigns that keep players engaged throughout their journey. From onboarding and activation to retention and reactivation, you will leverage player insights and behavioural data to deliver highly personalized experiences.

Working closely with marketing, product, analytics, and creative teams, you will ensure CRM campaigns are aligned with business objectives, key sporting moments, and promotional calendars.

Key Responsibilities CRM Campaign Strategy & Execution
  • Plan, build, and execute targeted multi-channel CRM campaigns across Email, SMS, Push Notifications, and On-site messaging
  • Align campaigns with promotional calendars, major sporting events, and commercial objectives
  • Develop and manage automated player lifecycle journeys , including welcome flows, first deposit triggers, reactivation campaigns, and birthday communications
  • Support VIP and loyalty initiatives through personalized engagement strategies for high-value players

Segmentation & Personalisation
  • Analyse player behaviour, betting patterns, and transactional data to build meaningful audience segments
  • Segment players based on factors such as sport preferences, deposit behaviour, lifetime value, and risk profile
  • Deliver relevant content and targeted offers that drive engagement and increase player retention

Performance Analysis & Optimisation
  • Track and report on key CRM performance metrics including open rates, CTR, conversion rates, player retention, reactivation, and churn
  • Conduct A/B testing on messaging, offers, creative assets, and send times to continuously improve campaign performance
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on campaign data and player behaviour analysis

Collaboration & Campaign Delivery
  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, Analytics, and Creative teams to deliver impactful CRM initiatives
  • Brief the creative team to develop high-quality campaign assets that align with brand guidelines
  • Ensure seamless execution of campaigns across all communication channels

Compliance & Responsible Gaming
  • Ensure all CRM communications adhere to the Lotteries and Gaming Act Chapter 10:26 of Zimbabwe , data protection requirements, and responsible gaming guidelines
  • Support responsible gambling initiatives by ensuring ethical messaging that does not target vulnerable players

Requirements Education
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Statistics, or a related field preferred

Experience
  • Minimum 2+ years experience in CRM, Lifecycle Marketing, or Direct Marketing
  • Previous experience within the iGaming, Sports Betting, or digital entertainment industry is highly advantageous
  • Proven experience executing successful multi-channel CRM campaigns

Technical Skills
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Optimove, Braze, FastTrack, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Looker, or similar
  • Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for campaign analysis and reporting
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms and basic HTML/CSS for email editing is beneficial
