Utilise models for calculating regulatory and economic capital, credit impairments, stress testing, and rating processes. To ensure adherence to best practice models in line with relevant regulations and accounting standards, ultimately contributing to world-class risk management. Validate models under supervision in accordance with the relevant frameworks and policies. Perform technical aspects of the validation process correctly under supervision, including extraction, cleaning, validating data. Effectively manage the Model stakeholders under supervision, including setting up regular engagements, requesting of information, resolution of independent validation findings, delivery within agreed timelines etc. Produce high-quality validation documentation and effectively present validation results at relevant committees. Respond effectively to credit analyst queries based on models in a timely manner under supervision. Perform monthly model monitoring and reporting tasks. Perform monthly data analysis and submissions to vendors. Identify, test thinking on making recommendations on process and model improvements.
