Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Millwright Technician to join our team in the medium to heavy industry sector. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience in overhead crane and lifting equipment maintenance, strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and mechanical systems, and proficiency in PLC & VSD control systems. This role requires a focus on safety, quality, and mentoring junior staff.
Requirements- Qualified Millwright with trade test certification
- 7 years' experience in processing line maintenance, including overhead cranes and lifting equipment
- 3+ years' experience with PLC & VSD control systems and field instrumentation
- Technical qualifications in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering advantageous
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of SANS and lifting legislation
