Cover Teaching Assistant - Primary / SEN

Location: London

Pay: £95 - £115 per day

Start: After Easter Half Term

Contract: Full-time / Flexible cover available

Remedy Education are currently recruiting for reliable and adaptable Cover Teaching Assistants to support schools across London after the Easter half term.

This role is ideal for candidates who are confident stepping into different classrooms, supporting a range of pupils, and maintaining a positive and structured learning environment.

The Role

As a Cover Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide general classroom support across different year groups
  • Step in to cover staff absences across primary or SEN settings
  • Support pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis
  • Assist with learning activities, behaviour management and engagement
  • Help maintain a safe, supportive and organised classroom environment
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure continuity of learning
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with children in schools, nurseries or care settings
  • Is flexible, reliable and confident working in different environments
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Has a proactive and hands on approach
  • Experience with SEN (ASD, ADHD, SEMH) is highly desirable
