Costs

We are looking to recruit an experienced Costs Lawyer / Costs Draftsperson to join our team on a fully remote basis, working predominantly on high-value Personal Injury matters.

This is an excellent opportunity for a costs professional who enjoys technically complex work and wants the flexibility of remote working, while remaining involved in challenging, high-value cases.

• Drafting Bills of Costs on high-value PI matters (including multi-track and catastrophic injury claims)
• Advising on costs strategy, recovery, and risk
• Dealing with Points of Dispute and Replies
• Negotiating costs and conducting detailed assessment proceedings
• Supporting fee earners on complex costs issues throughout the lifecycle of a claim

• Proven experience handling high-value PI costs work
• Strong technical knowledge of the CPR, Costs Practice Direction, and case law
• Confident drafting and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Qualified Costs Lawyer preferred, but experienced Draftspersons are encouraged to apply
