Job Description

Responsibleforanalyzingfinancialdata,managingcosts,andprovidinginsightstoimproveprofitabilitywithinanorganization working closely with directors and management.

KeyResponsibilities
  • CostAnalysis: Gather and analyze financial data to determine standard costs and investigate variances between estimated and actual costs.
  • BudgetManagement: Assist in preparing optimized budget plans and monitor expenditure to ensure adherence to financial goals.
  • Reporting: Prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual costs and present findings to management for decision-making.
  • InventoryManagement: Monitor inventory accuracy and manage the costs associated with goods manufactured, including labor, materials, and overhead costs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other accountants and financial staff to provide support for budgeting and financial planning initiatives.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and maintain accurate cost accounting systems.
RequiredSkillsandQualifications
  • EducationalBackground: A degree in accounting, finance, or related field is an advantage, and Relevant certifications may be preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience in cost accounting or similar financial role is required, with a strong understanding of cost accounting principles.
  • TechnicalSkills: Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is beneficial. Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting are also important.
  • AttentiontoDetail: A keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis is crucial.
  • AnalyticalSkills: Strong analytical and problem solving skills to identify cost saving opportunities and improve financial performance.
