We're hiring a Corporate Legal Assistantbased in South Africa to support a UK top-20 accountancy and legal advisory firm. You'll be part of a growing Legal Services team, working closely with senior legal partners and helping UK-based clients with corporate and company secretarial matters.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has an LLB degree, 2-3 years of experience, and a passion for corporate governance or company law, looking to build an international career while working from SA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with corporate legal admin and documentation
  • Draft and circulate board resolutions and shareholder documentation
  • Maintain and update statutory registers
  • Manage Companies House filings (UK equivalent of CIPC - training will be provided)
  • Support transactions such as incorporations, director changes, share transfers, and reorganisations
  • Liaise with HMRC, Companies House, and internal teams in the UK
  • Provide ad-hoc company secretarial and legal support
Requirements
  • LLB degree from a South African university
  • 2-3 years' experience in a legal, governance, or professional services environment
  • Completed Articles
  • Excellent command of English (verbal and written)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Organised, detail-oriented and self-motivated

Advantageous (but not required):

  • Enrolled with CGISA or looking to enroll
  • Experience with CIPC filings, legal compliance, or company secretarial software
  • Exposure to corporate transactions or governance documentation
