Corporate Gifting Administrator (Internal)

This is an entry-level internal sales role within the corporate gifting division, focused on generating new business and supporting internal sales functions.

New Business Development (70%)

• Cold call new clients (resellers and distributors) from an existing database
• Introduce SMD, our brands, products, and categories
• Provide suitable sales solutions and convert prospects into registered resellers
• Set up external meetings, showroom visits, or product tours with potential clients
• Maintain and update the CRM/database with call activity, feedback, progress, and next steps

Sales Support & Administration (30%)

• Assist with internal sales processes and administration
• Raise quotes and process orders on the SMD system
• Prepare and send presentations to clients
• Follow up on quotes and orders to ensure conversion

• Matric (minimum qualification)
• No formal tertiary qualification required but advantageous
• Experience in cold calling within a B2B environment (adaptive, not scripted)
• Basic to intermediate admin and Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong telephone etiquette and communication skills
• Good command of English (additional languages advantageous)
• Confident, proactive, and target-oriented
