The successful candidate will be required to fulfill the job as summarised below, but not limited to:

  • Execution of the C&I scope on EPC and EPCM projects
  • Liaise with other engineering disciplines and other support departments to ensure alignment between all parties
  • Develop documentation for the field instrumentation design including data sheets, loop drawings and bill of quantities
  • Develop communication design for control systems and data networks
  • Adhere to the project schedule and allocated budget
  • Work with minimal supervision in a dynamic fast paced environment
  • The candidate must be in possession of a BSc / B.Eng. Electrical/ Electronic Engineering degree.

The candidate must be experienced in the following fields:

  • At least 6 years specific C&I design experience with min 3 years in the Oil & Gas environment.
  • Knowledge of and understanding of SABS / IEC standards
