Construction Installation Manager (Plumbing)

Position: Construction Installation Manager (Plumbing) - Sandton-Based Company Wildlife Estate Development - Limpopo: Site-Based Project

A Sandton-based high-end construction and development company is currently delivering a premium build project on a large wildlife farm in Limpopo.

They require a qualified and experienced Plumbing Installation Construction Manager to take ownership of all plumbing installations during the active construction phase. This is not a maintenance role. The successful candidate will form part of the core build team from the outset, leading plumbing installation work from groundwork through to final compliance.

The role is site-based during the week; staff are transported to site on Mondays and return to Johannesburg on Fridays.

• Interpret detailed construction drawings, plumbing layouts and technical blueprints
• Plan, schedule and direct plumbing installations from early construction stages through to completion
• Lead and oversee all plumbing activities on site
• Install and supervise installation of plumbing systems, equipment and materials
• Collaborate with site managers, architects, contractors and other trade leads to ensure alignment with project timelines
• Ensure all plumbing installations comply with statutory regulations and pass final inspections for Certificate of Compliance
• Develop and manage detailed work plans, timelines and installation schedules
• Allocate daily tasks and monitor quality and productivity standards
• Track job costs, manage materials and coordinate with suppliers to avoid delays
• Identify site risks early and resolve issues proactively

• Valid Plumber's Licence
• Registered with the Plumbing Industry Registration Board (PIRB)
• Minimum 3+ years' experience managing plumbing teams within high-end or luxury construction developments
• Proven experience overseeing plumbing installations in multi-storey or large-scale property developments
• Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate junior plumbers
• Own reliable vehicle (although company transport will be provided)
• Clear criminal record (essential due to protected wildlife on the property)
