Position: Construction Installation Manager (Electrician)

Sandton-Based Company Wildlife Estate Development - Limpopo - site-based project

A Sandton-based high-end construction and development company is currently delivering a premium build project on a large wildlife farm in Limpopo.

They require a qualified and experienced Electrician Construction Installation Manager to take ownership of all electrical installations during the active construction phase.

This is not a maintenance role. The successful candidate will form part of the core build team from the outset, leading electrical installation work during the development stage of the project.

The role is site-based during the week and staff are transported to site on Mondays and return to Johannesburg on Fridays.

• Three-Phase Wireman's License
• Registered with the Department of Employment and Labour
• Minimum 3+ years' experience managing electricians within high-end construction or property development environments
• Proven experience in three-phase installations, motors, switchgear and renewable energy systems such as solar
• Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate junior electricians
• Own reliable vehicle (although company transport will be provided)
• Clear criminal record (essential due to protected wildlife on the property)

• Interpret construction drawings, electrical schematics and technical plans
• Lead and oversee all electrical installation activities during the build phase
• Plan and execute conduit layouts, cabling, panels, DB boards, lighting and related infrastructure
• Manage materials, labour allocation, tools and installation budgets
• Collaborate with site managers, architects, contractors and other trade leads to ensure programme alignment
• Ensure all three-phase installations comply with statutory Installation Rules and pass final inspections for Certificate of Compliance
• Verify full safety and regulatory compliance
• Identify and resolve technical faults during construction
• Enforce strict health and safety standards on site
