A financial services provider specialising in international and offshore investments is seeking a Compliance Specialist to join its Corporate Onboarding team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a small, agile team while engaging with global clients and compliance professionals.
Responsibilities- Compiling account opening documentation for complex structures such as trusts and companies, including international fiduciary firms.
- Conducting online due diligence searches using specialist tools and open source platforms.
- Providing administrative support to the Compliance team and assisting with policy reviews and audits.
- Contributing to regulatory and compliance projects, ensuring adherence to AML/CTF and sanctions requirements, including FATCA and CRS.
- Supporting analysis of account opening requests from international corporate clients such as trusts, collective investment schemes, financial institutions, and external asset managers.
- Maintaining organised records by managing folders, documents, and files for the onboarding team.
- Collaborating with European colleagues to ensure effective communication and coordinated workflows.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience, ideally in Law or Economics
- Previous experience in the financial or fiduciary services industry
- Strong practical knowledge and understanding of FICA
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in international compliance
- Excellent administrative skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English (additional languages advantageous)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems
- Team oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a multicultural, fast paced environment
- Knowledge of French and/or German will be an advantage
