Job Description Control expenditure and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation Deliver customer experience excellence in own service delivery aligned to Organisational values and service standards Compile reports that track progress and guide business to make informed decisions Ensure development and continuous value add improvement to operational processes Manages risks in own area of responsibility Advise and support clients on a wide range of financial crime compliance matters, systems and controls Manage financial crime compliance and associated risks in own area of responsibility Stay abreast of money laundering and terrorist financing trends and typologies to utilise information during high-profile investigation to create awareness and identify potential risks Conduct in-depth analysis to ensure that the organisations products and services adhere to all relevant legislation and regulations Lead execution of design and operational effectiveness, testing of clients' financial crime risk management controls including due diligence, transaction monitoring, screening, and suspicious activity reporting processes Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across area of specialisation Display and encourage an appreciation of teamwork and inclusivity Control expenditure and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs. Implement, monitor and control business processes according to quality standards; policy; and compliance and governance requirements in area of accountability. Ensure the development, alignment, mapping and implementation of end-to-end processes aligned to the customer journey map Research, enable and consult on improvements and opportunities to harness technology and platform enablement. Review existing processes and suggest innovative ideas to improve and streamline processes to drive efficiencies and minimise redundancy. Monitor customer feedback reports and align processes to maximise efficiencies. Participate in effective governance structures to meet the requirements imposed by governmental bodies, regulators, industry mandates or internal policies. Provide guidance to management on developing remediation programmes that ensure adherence to regulatory requirements Stay abreast of relevant trends and typologies to inform the Group Compliance Monitoring Framework. Provide guidance to management on developing remediation programmes that ensures adherence to regulatory requirements. Contribute to the development of risk-based Compliance Monitoring plans to ensure coverage of key compliance risks across the Group. Execute Compliance Reviews to ensure monitoring reviews are strategic, thematic, and structural to deliver the required level of assurance within the agreed timelines. Monitor and control record-keeping of all review documentation in the relevant SharePoint folders in line with the Group Compliance Monitoring Data Handling Procedure Monitor compliance with laws and regulations to facilitate the establishment of a compliance culture that contributes to prudent risk management. Produce aggregated and reliable reports and formulate pertinent observations and recommendations to enable the effectiveness of critical business decisions and reporting. Take ownership for reporting issues raised during reviews to ensure effective resolution of issues within agreed timeframes. Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development.
