Compliance Intern Port Elizabeth

Our client is looking for a Compliance Intern to join their team in Port Elizabeth. This is a fantastic entry level opportunity for a recent graduate who is eager to gain hands on experience in compliance within a financial services environment that includes insurance, collective investments, and stockbroking.

• Assist with implementing compliance procedures and controls.
• Help identify and report on potential compliance issues.
• Support with record keeping and regulatory updates.
• Help review and register client complaints.
• Conduct basic compliance checks and report findings.
• Assist in updating internal compliance manuals.

• A relevant tertiary qualification such as:
  • BCom Law
  • LLB
  • BCom (Financial Management / Risk Management / Compliance / Internal Auditing)
  • BA (Governance / Public Administration)
  • BAdmin
  • BCom (Accounting / Economics)
• At least 1 year of compliance related experience in financial services.
• Solid MS Office skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented and organised.
• A team player who can also work independently.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast paced environment.
