Job Description
Our client is looking for a Compliance Intern to join their team in Port Elizabeth. This is a fantastic entry level opportunity for a recent graduate who is eager to gain hands on experience in compliance within a financial services environment that includes insurance, collective investments, and stockbroking.
Responsibilities- Assist with implementing compliance procedures and controls.
- Help identify and report on potential compliance issues.
- Support with record keeping and regulatory updates.
- Help review and register client complaints.
- Conduct basic compliance checks and report findings.
- Assist in updating internal compliance manuals.
- A relevant tertiary qualification such as:
- BCom Law
- LLB
- BCom (Financial Management / Risk Management / Compliance / Internal Auditing)
- BA (Governance / Public Administration)
- BAdmin
- BCom (Accounting / Economics)
- At least 1 year of compliance related experience in financial services.
- Solid MS Office skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail oriented and organised.
- A team player who can also work independently.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast paced environment.
