Commercial Claims Consultant Short Term Insurance

The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial claims, strong knowledge of commercial insurance products (property, liability, motor fleet, etc.) and proven experience working with brokers and/or corporate clients. The role involves planning, managing and monitoring the implementation of claims management activities and processes to deliver approved operational plans effectively and efficiently.

• Manage the full claims lifecycle for commercial lines (from notification to settlement).
• Assess claims in line with policy wording, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with clients, brokers, assessors, loss adjusters, and service providers.
• Investigate and evaluate claims, ensuring accurate and fair outcomes.
• Proactively drive claims resolution and manage turnaround times.
• Identify potential fraud indicators and raise escalation where necessary.
• Deliver excellent client service and maintain strong broker relationships.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Provide insights and feedback to improve claims processes and client experience.
• Assess and process claims following standard operating procedures.
• Handle all customer interactions professionally and efficiently.
• Provide support to customers and team as required to ensure team performance on an ongoing basis.
• Ensure that all team activities are in adherence to relevant control, compliance requirements, and quality standards.

• Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC): Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required).
