The Neuroscience Clinical Facilitator (CF) is an HCP-facing role within AbbVie who facilitates HCP understanding of key learnings in clinic. The CF will have required experience in Neuroscience and will be trained to a high level of competency and skill. A clinical background or qualification is highly recommended for this role due to the clinical content and technical aspects covered with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs). The CF provides 1:1 in clinic facilitation tailored to educational need and aligned to the AbbVie Medical Institute (AMI) Educational Journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivers In Clinic Services (65%)
    The CF identifies educational need and delivers a bespoke educational journey for each HCP enrolled on a facilitation pathway, based on the HCP's self assessment of knowledge, skills, and confidence. They support approximately 30 HCPs per affiliate, develop facilitation pathways aligned with AMI curricula, maintain high service levels, and record all activity in VEEVA CRM for KPI monitoring.
  • Arranges and Supports Education via Digital Platforms (15%)
    The CF guides HCP educational curricula using AMI digital platforms to improve clinical knowledge around AbbVie Neuroscience products, providing core AMI offerings for beginner injectors and value for all HCPs within the role.
  • Supports AMI Lead in Event Delivery (20%)
    The CF supports key affiliate level AMI events, attends industry conferences & AMI workshops, and may act as 'First Assist' for live technical workshops if clinically qualified.
Qualifications
  • University degree in a clinically based subject (medicine, nursing, biokinetics, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, clinical pharmacy, etc.).
  • Experience within a sales or clinical specialist role in the pharmaceutical/medical device industry, ideally in neuroscience.
  • Experience in facilitation/training/coaching, including event management and delivery of workshops and training solutions.
  • Valid driver's licence and ability to travel 75% of the time (local, national, and international, including overnight stays).
  • Strong leadership qualities consistent with AbbVie's Ways We Work culture.
  • Additional skills:
    • Business English fluency (ideal but not essential).
    • Metrics driven mindset, experience tracking activity in a CRM tool.
    • Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; advanced PowerPoint.
