Responsibilities
  • Washing and sanitizing all dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
  • Operating dishwashers or manually cleaning gadgets as needed.
  • Cleaning and preserving all work surfaces, floors, and kitchen areas to ensure hygiene.
  • Assisting kitchen personnel with tasks such as peeling vegetables, chopping, or portioning.
  • Transporting components between storage areas and the kitchen.
  • Ensuring waste is disposed of correctly and recycling handled properly.
  • Cleaning and keeping kitchen equipment and utensils properly.
  • Regularly checking dishwashing tools and kitchen equipment for maintenance.
  • Reporting any tools faults or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
  • Assisting with unpacking and organizing deliveries of kitchen supplies.
  • Ensuring ample inventory of cleaning supplies, including dish soap, sponges, and sanitizing chemicals.
  • Following strict hygiene and sanitation protocols to comply with health and safety standards.
