Contract Lecturer at Rosslyn Campus

Salary: R per annum plus 37% in lieu of benefits

Duration: April to June 2022

Civil Engineering Ref: TNC/RC 2

Requirements
  • Matric certificate or equivalent certificate plus an appropriate M+3 qualification (National Diploma / Bachelor's Degree) in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Relevant teaching qualification with at least one year of lecturing experience in Civil Engineering N1 to N6 and Mathematics N1 to N3
  • Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • SACE registration
  • Assessor/moderator qualification an added advantage
  • Knowledge of legislation governing the sector
Duties
  • Conduct classes on the subjects listed above and organize curricular activities to ensure proper delivery of learning outcomes
  • Assess and record learner attainment
  • Assist with issuing and retrieving textbooks and management of equipment
  • Organize experiential training for students
  • Report and account for student performance in their programmes
  • Record and report on absenteeism and carry out other relevant duties within the ambit of teaching and learning
