Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location: George Regional Health & Rehab
Department: Nursing
Schedule: Full-Time (Shift availability as applicable)
Reports To: Director of Nursing / Charge Nurse

George Regional Health & Rehab is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. CNAs play a vital role in providing direct, hands on care to residents while promoting dignity, comfort, and quality of life in a long term care setting.

1. Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding)
2. Provide mobility assistance and reposition residents as needed
3. Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to licensed nursing staff
4. Take and record vital signs
5. Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment
6. Follow infection control and safety guidelines
7. Provide compassionate care while maintaining resident dignity and privacy
8. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members

1. Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Mississippi
2. Current CPR certification preferred
3. Ability to pass required background screening
4. Strong communication and teamwork skills
5. Compassionate, dependable, and resident focused
6. Ability to stand, lift, and assist residents as needed
