A brand-new role in the South African office of this established Pan-African organization, specializing in HR services. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Business Development professional to take ownership of business growth in South Africa by expanding client portfolios, strengthening key partnerships, and introducing innovative, market-relevant solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in turnaround environments and knows how to turn strategy into sales.

Key Responsibilities Revenue Growth & Market Expansion
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities across the South African market.
  • Identify and pursue high-potential sectors and industries aligned with service offerings
  • Carry out sales forecasting and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual performance.
Sales & Client Acquisition
  • Generate and qualify sales leads and move them through the full sales cycle to conversion.
  • Pitch the company's services to new and existing clients through compelling presentations and proposals.
  • Establish, manage, and grow strong relationships with decision-makers, key stakeholders, and partners.
Client Relationship Management
  • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and upselling.
  • Understand client needs and provide effective HR solutions aligned with their business objectives.
  • Analyze customer feedback to assess satisfaction and recommend service improvements.
Strategic Planning & Leadership
  • Set business development goals and develop clear action plans to achieve them.
  • Research, plan, and implement new market initiatives and partnerships.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform strategy.
Brand Representation & Networking
  • Represent the business at industry conferences, seminars, and networking events.
  • Strengthen brand visibility and credibility within the South African HR and business community.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Master's degree is an added advantage.
Criteria
  • Minimum 6-10 years of proven experience in Business Development or Sales.
  • Prior experience in a Human Resources, Recruitment, Outsourcing, or HR Consultancy firm is a strong advantage.
  • Strong network of decision makers in high-demand sectors such as mining, oil and gas & telecoms.
