Cookie Notice Your Privacy Always Active Key Roles and Responsibilities: Support and Manage Zone LCP as per Scope Requirement (E.g. Demand Planning, Portfolio, Management, S&OP) Prepare and Manage Weekly and Monthly Demand routines for t(E.g. S&OE, S&OP, Portfolio Review, Demand Review, Supply Review) Prepare, analyze and implement recommendations for Demand Planning data (e.g. master data, aggregation rules, segmentation, internal/external demand drivers, normalization, etc.) Generate and/or analyse Statistical Forecasting outputs, including best fit models run over appropriate horizons and disaggregation. Propose, agree and implement Commercial Enrichment and Collaboration (e.g. commercial/marketing calendars, events, promotions, NPDs, discontinuations, etc.) Analyse and incorporate import/export volumes within the standard demand cycle (e.g. IMEX M+1) Manage and support the implementation and use of Zone reporting Tools and/or Dashboards Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate key performance metrics (Forecast Accuracy, Bias, SCOH, etc.) and improvement recommendations to management and senior leadership Key Attributes and competencies: Good communicator across all levels within and external to the organisation Effective problem solving at both operational and tactical levels Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity Excellent self management practices with a pro active, energetic and committed approach Ability to manage multiple streams of information optimally with attention to detail Minimum Requirements: Ideal candidate should have between 3-5 years experience in the Demand Planning, Sales/Marketing, Planning or Supply Chain disciplines in an FMCG environment Candidate should have a 3-year Bachelor level degree in Sciences or Commercial or similar degree or equivalent tertiary education An orientation towards the quantitative disciplines of mathematics, statistics and economics would be advantageous Basic business financial understanding would be advantageous Excellent analytical understanding and strong excel capabilities advantageous Strong negotiation skills and ability to build rapport and influence across all levels in the organization Effective numeracy, analytical skills & problem solving at both operational and tactical levels Excellent presentation and report drafting skills Additional Information: Band: VI SAB is an equal opportunity employer, and all appointments will be made in-line with SAB employment equity plan and talent requirements. The key purpose of this role is to ensure/complete appropriate analysis and enrichment of statistical forecasts through collaboration with commercial teams to reach consensus on both weekly and monthly horizons.
